Welcome to Annabel Fallon's cookery website
In September 2008 I completed the three month course in food and wine at the Ballymaloe Cookery School in Cork, Ireland.
From Ballymaloe I cooked for six months at the renowned Wiltshire pub the Royal Oak at Bishopstone, which is run by the organic farmer Helen Browning and her partner Tim Finney. At the Royal Oak we worked along the simple lines of what was best that day on the farm and in the gardens, producing simple good quality seasonal food.
At Ballymaloe and the Royal Oak I learnt to develop a deep understanding of food and how it's produced; something which I believe to be vital to producing great cooking.
